Thank You: Foodbank Appeal for Aberdeen Cyrenians HUGE Success
IMG_6055

As part of our 10th year in business celebrations, we joined forces with our Marketing Agency, Prospect 13, to collect food donations in aid of Aberdeen Cyrenian’s over the month of June. At Ann McRobb Associates we felt it necessary to give back and support the community that has supported us over the years. In total we collected and delivered 10 boxes of food, so we would like to say a massive thank you to everyone who donated.

Our Managing Director, Ann McRobb, had to say:

Everyone at Ann McRobb Associates and Prospect 13 have been overwhelmed with the incredible response and generosity towards our food appeal initiative. We always knew the people of Aberdeen were special and throughout this appeal we have been so touched by the kindness and willingness to help, so sincerely I would like to say thank you. The last couple of years have posed many challenges leaving a lot of families struggling financially forced to make impossible choices – Aberdeen Cyrenians are able to help these people get back on their feet. We look forward to further supporting this and various other local causes in the future.”

Prospect 13 Managing Director, Cerri McDonald, added:

“Giving back to our community is something I have always been enthusiastic about and have strived to instil throughout Prospect 13. When long term clients Ann and Gary came to us suggesting running a foodbank appeal as part of their 10th anniversary celebrations, never did I think we would receive as incredible a response as we have. Thank you to everyone who has donated and supported this worthy local cause.”

About Aberdeen Cyrenians

Aberdeen Cyrenians, originally started as soup kitchen in 1968 by Aberdeen University students, has grown to be one of the North East’s largest charities for helping the most vulnerable and socially excluded citizens. Aberdeen Cyrenians aims to help these individuals by providing access to food, shelter, clothing and toiletries as well as identifying the underlying issues to their homelessness.
